Hey there, everyone! Not much activity here but I'm gonna leave a little comment at least. ^^;

I've seen some artists commenting outside of the forum that they don't want their self-published works to be reviewed. I know many artists want feedbacks so that they can improve their works but there are still those who just draw for fun or gets invitations to draw in their friends' books, so I can understand how they'd feel disheartened if they get bad feedbacks, especially when they didn't ask for it.

May I suggest a different approach to reviewing self-published works in here?

Maybe only review books that want to be reviewed?

(check in the artist's comments in the book if they ask for feedback etc)

If the artist didn't ask for feedback but you have only praise to give to them, maybe that's okay too?

Or artists can make their own threads asking for feedback?

Or they post in feedback threads asking for feedbacks too?

Just thought I'd look at the different options we can go with to help boost confidence in artists to keep on drawing, rather than hinder them.
