This is compiled from this thread.

DO NOT REPLY TO THIS THREAD UNLESS YOU ARE NAMING A LOCATION THAT CAN BE USED AS A PHOTOSHOOT AREA. Any unrelated replies will be DELETED without notice. Will update the first post according to your replies ^^

Please also mention details e.g. with/without permission etc. - please name the procedures needed to use the place, if possible. Sample photos as well. And if I missed anything out, please PM me to inform me.

Lastly, I am not responsible if anyone gets in trouble from photoshooting at these places. I'm merely compiling it for easy reference.

Great idea for a thread! ^^I'd suggest posting links to galleries where shoots were done at these locations before as 'examples', so ppl can get an idea on what sort of 'feel' these places have. =D (But I guess you'd have to rely on cosplayers themselves submitting links, hehe~)Just in case you want to put up links to previous shoots at these locations, here are a few I've been part of:1) Hitman Reborn Varia Arc Shoot at the Abandoned Building in Glenmarie. (I know there was a Togainu no Chi shoot done there before too, and more recently a Bleach shoot. The galleries should still be up floating around in cyberspace somewhere ... =P)2) Harry Potter Photoshoot at Kellie's Castle, Perak: link 1; link 2; link 3.3) Avatar: The Last Airbender Shoot at Taman Tasik Permaisuri, KL: link 1; link 2.

I'd suggest another area for KL. There's one in Sentul Park, that abandoned old train station. If you were on your way to Yuritei, or the Koi Centre (passing by KLpac), you'll definitely see this one.http://savoirvivrekl.blogspot.com/2009/11/skbd-lends-seahorses-helping-hand.html Well, the area around KLpac is good too.Another one is, well, if anyone dares, Pekeliling Flats near Titiwangsa Monorail station (in KL). It's that old flat that has now been emptied. http://www.google.co...HD8mIrAfDi_06Go with friends, and people who know can defend you. And try not to be too flashy here though. It's an awesome photoshoot spot, but it's equally dangerous too.

Thanks for the suggestion, Ashalia but KLPac is off-limits =( You would have to pay a RM10k fee to photoshoot there because it's private property. As for Pekeliling flats, it's highly dangerous and now barricaded. I've heard about the danger of drug addicts and also that the place is falling apart. I've driven past that place a few times and it's now barricaded with hording and has 'No Entry' signs all over it =(

The abandoned train station is off-limits? Damn. That's a shame.

What about the KL lookout point? Well, I suppose the one before it. (Not the one with those restaurants/shops la) I mean, the cliff side? I can't really remember, because it's been a while since me and my dad climbed the mountain passing by that place. It's kinda dangerous though. There's also a place in Kuala Terengganu..uh, the place by the Floating Mosque. If you're familiar with that.I can suggest a few places if it were in Sarawak though.

Well, this is the actual KL lookout point.the map is from the actual website.[map]Ref on this person's blog to see what's there lol.[moar pics.]Though, since I can't give you the exact pinpoint of the cliff w/o those restaurants I talked about, it's this one. The only picture i can find so far. :/ Yeah, you'll still be able to see the entire KL from there. yes, the ENTIRE KL. ;DaAnd the road is quite dangerous. :P So, if you wanna drive there, be careful. It's almost like going to Genting or something. Oh, and if you plan on eating there, the food's expensive, last I went there it was anyway.Oh, and for in Sarawak, I suggest at Tasik Biru. The place is super nice. Though, Tasik Biru was said there was a school bus (I think) where, it fell into there, and everyone died. o: It used to be a mine place? It's very deep inside (yea, kawasan pedalaman), but worth it. ;Da There's actually a whole load places, but I forgot the names.
