Good ol' siti fatimah. I thought it odd how an almost week-old comment got set upon by the usual suspects in the same hour. Lo and behold!
Regardless of your own thought on this issue, I thank you for the exposure. Though, judging from those comments, this has turned into just a matter of "them vs us". Well, whatever, it's up to the organizers, anyway.
Oh and to alex, since you got the ball rolling, the lens I used could go down to 1.4, so I didn't "suffer" as much. But that's not the crux of the argument, you see ; like I said, it's about tackling a problem. Not being a part of it.
It's the same mentality I have when confronted with the issue of our politicians siphoning off billions of ringgit for their own benefit. "Are you serious? Why can't you just do it, too? I think you just suck" is not a valid defence. Or do you happen to think it IS?
Ad hominems away!
Edit: Just saw Ellie's addendum. Not sure where she stands. No offence taken, ma'am, but someone must break the cycle of not caring, no? And if you can pity the photographers who can't stand low light, what about the rest of us?
Oh and Ellie, a certain alex is saying that those photographers should just git gud in low light situations, instead. No fast lens? GIT GUD, LAZY ASS. Too much post-proc? GIT GUD, LAZY ASS. Sorry, alexism in my system.
