My favourite Yoko Kanno song is Sakamichi No Melody for the anime 'Sakamichi no Apollon'. I swear this was the first time I never skipped the OP even once! The instrumental is breathtaking. ;.;

Also the OST she did for SNA was REALLY GOOD. Right on par with Cowboy Bebop!

Speaking of Turn A Gundam, I'll be performing Tsuki no Mayu with a bit of Moon mixed in the fray for the J-Fest singing competition next Saturday.

 

In addition to that, Tsuki no Mayu/Moon was my first and my favourite song from Kanno. <3 And this one, performed live and sung by Origa. Pure epicness. <3
